Nancy, I've been a member of Aidpage since Dec 2010. I've always been ashamed of my teeth, and I don't like to laugh at all. I have 1 set of "eye" teeth that I don't like, and I've lost alot of my back teeth, and find it hard to chew. I also have a cavity on one of my front teeth. I just want all of them pulled and have a set of dentures, but I'm uninsured. I went to your site and filled out an application. Can you really help me knowing I don't have any insurance? At 53, I would really like to smile for once in my life, and not put my hand over my mouth when I laugh.
I haven't been here lately because my situation had gotten worse. I'm happy to report that I now have a job. Although I still live in a hotel, I'm at least blessed to have a job. Now, if the lord will just bless me with a vehicle, I will be one step closer to being complete.

It's been over 2 months since I've been on aidpage. The reason for this is because I was eventually evicted from the hotel because my friend could no longer help me with paying for the room. I have slept over friend's houses, but have to leave in the mornings. I hate living like this, and I'm deeply depressed. I have tried everything but suicide because I love life, and feel I have alot to live for. I'm not asking to be rich. I hate asking strangers for handouts, but at this point, I have nowhere else to turn. Can somebody please help me? I need a job, a apartment, and vehicle to get around to look for employment. I did go to school and have experience as a medical assistant. If there's anyone out there who can help me, or know of someone else who can, please contact me.
This is my story. I'm a 53 yr old unemployed and homeless woman. I was evicted from my home in June of this year, and have been living in a hotel ever since. My boyfriend has been paying for me to stay here, but he's got some money issues, and is finding it hard to continue to pay. As of today, my bill is $164. I gave him my ps3 to pawn, but they didn't accept it. I'm about to lose my furniture in storage because I/he can't pay for it either. I'm currently enrolled in school to be a medical assistant so I can gain employment. I have tried every organization available to me, but because I don't have young children for the most part, everything is filled up. I have asked my children, but 2 of them also live in hotels with their children. It's difficult to ask strangers for money, but I've ran out of resources. I just want enough money to get an apartment, and money for busfare to get me back and forth to school. I only have 4 more weeks before I go on my externship and I'm hoping I will have some type of transportation at that time. Whatever you can help me with will be greatly appreciated.
